Gullible

by Chandana
(India)

Was it my fault to look at the Moon on a New Moon Day.
Was it my fault to cry when the clouds sent rain
Was it my fault to find stars when it is a sunny day.
Was it my fault to take all the pain.
Was it my fault to think that butterflies could fly high to reach the sky.
Was it my fault to believe that skimmed milk gives butter.
Was it my fault to think that every drop of water can be pure
Was it my fault to believe that every tree has a fruit.
Was it my fault to think of growing roses in a desert.
Was it my fault to dream when it wont come true.
Was it my fault to think everything was fair.
Was it my fault to not recognize that this was just a game.
Was it my fault when they were shrewd.
Was it my fault to believe them when they were in a camouflage
But now it feel like it is my fault and I've lost the tenacity to affirm that i could gospel truth again.
May be all this happened because i was more gullible.
