I Love You: A Sonnet

by KellyRK

O love, you have not quite been desired
Au contraire, destiny has taken place
In your heart, a new soul is required
Sand slipped throgh my fingers without a trace
Combined, we, the fiercest of all typhoons
Linked at the waist bu our lives were a race
The winds, they began in the month of June
The summer in which you first saw her face
Red roses, they wilt at our goodbye kiss
Seeping through my veins, the thought of betray'l
So, now, here I lie, my heart in your fist
How could it be that our bond simply failed?
Your wish, my commang, I'm gone, never fear
I beg you to hear just 3 words, my dear
