So is watching porn cheating? I recently received an email from a young lady that walked in on her fiancé masturbating to porn. In her email, she expressed how hurt she felt to know that he was doing this and she really wanted to know if she should take it as cheating.

For the life of her, she could not believe that he could do such a thing. My response to her was simply to tell her to stop for a second and ask herself if she thought he was really engaging in an act to deliberately hurt her.

So is watching porn cheating?

As I thought, she responded by saying that after thinking about it, she doesn’t really think the simple act of watching porn is cheating. However, she went on to say that she felt it was a sign that something may have been missing in her relationship.

I must say that I totally agree with her. The act of watching porn is probably harmless, but the reason behind it maybe a complicated one.

If you never found out about your loved one watching porn and you were happy then all would probably remain good. But, once you surprisingly find out about this act, I think it now becomes time to at least have a talk.

Before the talk, really ask yourself if watching porn is cheating. You should probably prepare yourself for an awkward talk but it should take place. You may open up the conversation by asking your loved one, "Is watching porn cheating?".

Think about this, what if you guys were watching porn together, would it be so bad then? So, we could probably agree that the act is not as bad as the fact that it is something hidden from you.  is watching internet porn cheating I 

personally think watching porn is not harmful if it is done innocently and kept in moderation. There are actually men and woman out there that are seriously addicted to watching internet porn, so moderation is a key.

A major problem in relationships is the diversion of attention to other activities that causes the riff. Addiction to internet porn can definitely cause a diversion of attention if it gets out of control.

I think what must be considered is that watching porn can lead to instant self gratification. The danger of this is that it opens the person up to the outreach of the World Wide Web.

In this entangled web, the desire for self gratification can lead someone astray which can lead to them eventually fulfilling those needs with the help of a live person on the other end. This could ultimately be used as a vehicle to meet others which could lead to a physical encounter.
