About Karen

I am a marriage counselor, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, specializing in marriage counseling, couples counseling, pre-marital counseling and family counseling. I teach couples how to save a relationship.

I work with a variety of marriage and family issues such as infidelity, communication problems, parenting, family concerns, interracial relationships, and step-families.

Education and Training

I attended Colorado College and earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I also have a teaching certificate from University of Denver and have taught elementary school both in Chicago and Denver.

To become a marriage counselor, I earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology/Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of Colorado at Denver and has several hours of post graduate training in work with couple and family issues.
