Lying about gps?

My marriage of 9 years has been very rocky. A lot of deceiving was going on, on both of our parts. We split up a few times but always end up back together again. Anyway a lot of strange things continued happening which made me very suspicious and think he is cheating and lying. So, right now I'm very suspusious of him and have somewhat drove myself crazy trying to.prove he is cheating. I have found a lot if suspicious things, but never had definate.proof.

So, we recently got new cellphones and I deceided to put a gps tracker on his phone. It shows the same route daily normally...then one day I look and.it says he was in a different location for about an hour and late for work. It's somewhat close to to the route he takes but not the same towers. It suddenly stated he.got.off.the train, went to a new location and then to work. He says he went straight to work, got there on time and took the same route. I don't know what to believe..could the.gps have actually have picked up somewhere near.his route.and.got stuck?? I need someone that knows about gps, but am not finding any.info. The program I used tells me that it all depends on weather and etc....but, I'm so confused. How could it state he was there for an hour??? Any help would be great, thank you.
