Affairs - Its Important To Know The Different Types of Affairs

There are different types of affairs that you should know about. By knowing what type of affair your loved one is involved in, you may be able to make the better choice on what you are to do about your current relationship, if faced with that terrible decision because of infidelity.

In today's society, the probability that your relationship will be somehow affected by infidelity is increasingly higher than years ago. One of the contributing factors is the ability to log on to the internet and reach anyone anywhere, at anytime.

This resource that enhances our lives in so many ways also opens up a channel of temptation that many committed individuals succumb to.

"I've been married for 14 years, and I recently found out that my husband cheated on me with a co-worker!"

"I didn't think my wife was the type of person that would betray my trust!"

I came across similar statements in a forum that that I frequently visit. Infidelity can devastate a relationship because in most cases the partner that is cheated on never sees it coming.

  • Fling – There is also a lack of emotional attachment. This may be the wife that puts herself in a precarious situation after a major fight only to seriously regret her action immediately after.

  • Romantic Love Affair – The partners are extremely emotionally involved and stakes are very high. The cheating partner may be considering leaving their loved one for their lover.

  • Long Term Affair – This is a situation in which an individual may be actually living dual life for years on end. In many cases, the all parties may aware of what's going on.

  • Emotional Affair – A situation where emotions are the fueling factor. If this situation is not ended, it more than likely will lead to something physical and possibly sexual.

Hopefully you are not in a situation in which your partner is cheating on you. If you do find yourself in that boat, knowing what type of infidelity your loved is involved in will definitely help you to decide whether you should stay or abandon ship!
